After the launch of Huawei P8 in the April of 2015, the Chinese phone maker Huawei has again come up with a new model P9. With this model, Huawei has come up with some interesting features when compared to its predecessors.
• Micro SD card slot and Sim slot on the same tray.
This phone comes with a full metal finish body, has curved edges, it is slim and very light in weight. The volume buttons and the power buttons are placed on the right-hand side and the fingerprint sensor is on the rear side of the phone while the 3.5mm Audio Jack for audio outputs and the USB port for charging and data transfer are provided at the bottom of the phone.
The design looks very intuitive with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board with the Emotion UI 4.1 on the top and With a 5.2 inch screen and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the display is crystal clear. The performance of this phone is nonetheless very fast because of the HiSilicon Kirin 955 octa-core processor and of course the single layout user interface has a lot of customizability.
The biggest positive point about this phone is its camera as it has been co-engineered with the German camera maker Leica. There are two cameras at the back of the phone excluding the front camera. These two cameras serve different purposes, one camera traces only the monochrome colors while the other ordinary RGB colors. The system combines both of these images and gives the best output. The best of the camera can be seen when used in low light. Speaking in terms of numbers, this phone has 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
The video quality is also very good and the quality of the videos can be achieved up to 1080p at 60fps.
Huawei P9 comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM expandable up to 256 GB using a microSD card slot provided with the sim card tray.
The battery is rated at 3000 mAh and can perform for up to 1 day on a normal usage. Even with gaming, the battery is expected to last for an optimal time.
One of the notable features is the fingerprint sensor , even though it has been provided at the rear side of the phone, this sensor is able to recognize the fingerprint in no time. Placing the fingerprint sensor has a shortcoming, the user will have to lift the phone to find the sensor. But this is not a big problem, after a few days, the user will get used to it.
Additional features include geo-tagging, touch focus, panorama while the technical features include the accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and compass.
The Huawei P9 is a good phone, with the best camera feature and an octa-core processor, it can be a great competition to all the other phones available in the market which comes with a reasonable price. If the camera is of utmost importance to you then we suggest you look no further and buy this phone.
